Speed Drawing of Gigi Hadid

Similar to my last drawing of Camila Cabello I also went with charcoal pencil in this drawing. I used Q tips and cotton balls to blend out the charcoal. I also used alot of erasing in this drawing especially for the hair to show the detail.

One of my favorite mediums to work with is charcoal. I find that pencil does not become as dark as I want it to but I can get nice contrast with charcoal. I use a Q tip to blend out the harsh edges.
This is a recent portrait I have done in charcoal.

DIY Painting on Denim Jacket // Skull and Feathers

I have so many denim jackets, its one of my favorite things to wear.
I used fabric paint and a paint brush to design a native american themed skull to paint on my jacket.

I use metalic copper fabric paint to give a rusted effect on the edges on the jacket.

How to stay Creative!

I make sure to always have my camera with me, especially when I am traveling. I take pictures of everything. Anything around you can be used as inspiration or a muse for your art.

I went to a bird garden this summer in Iran and the colors of all the birds were so beautiful.

 I would also take pictures of things that others may not have found interesting or appealing. You can find beauty in anything.

Clothes and Art are an amazing way to express yourself. I used a black fabric marker to draw on one of my shirts that I never wore to make something new.

My Logo

I designed my first logo. I used copic markers for the red in the lips and prismacolor markers to outline the lips. The left fron tooth is chipped because I was hit by a car when I was on a bicycle and it reminds me to stay thankful :) I hope you enjoy my logo!

Dealing with Artists Block

Many people deal with artists block. One way to deal with it is the open a magazine up to a random page and do a 10 to 15 minute sketch. This is also a good way to warm up before a big drawing or painting. I posted a youtube video on the process.

Inspiration for T Shirt Designs

There is inspiration everywhere. I love bringing my camera with me where ever I go. Many of these pictures I take become inspiration for paintings and T shirt designs.

My favorite thing to draw is portraits so I decided to draw a female portrait on a red T Shirt.

Diy Dream Catcher T Shirt

We all have those old T shirts we never wear any more. All your going  to need is fabric markers and paint and you can create something amazing!
